This is the Nintendo 3Ds The Folks up in china have just recently unvieled their brand new innovation which could top the giants of the gaming world.
This is just a quick review and some inside infomation on the product it self before you go out an buy one!!
Gaming without glasses, really for the price of around £200!
You would of thought that the cost of 3d tellys these days a product price like this should be rocketing the roof, but it isn't if you have a spare 200 quid in you back pocket.
what im trying to get at here, is the quality and preformance of this product should not be matched to the price of it so you should expect to get what you pay for!
Lets look at some spec's;
- Upper screen: Wide-screen LCD display, enabling 3D view without the need for special glasses. Capable of displaying approximately 16.77 million colors. 3.53 inches display (3.02 inches wide, 1.81 inches high) with 800 x 240 pixel resolution. 400 pixels are allocated to each eye to enable 3D viewing.
- Lower screen: LCD with a touch screen capable of displaying 16.77 million colors. 3.02 inches (2.42 inches wide, 1.81 inches high) with 320 x 240 pixel resolution.
- One inner camera and two outer cameras. Resolutions are 640 x 480 for each camera. Lens are single focus and uses the CMOS capture element. The active pixel count is approximately 300,000 pixels.
- Wireless: 2.4 GHz. Enabling local wireless communication among multiple Nintendo 3DS systems for game play and StreetPass. Enabling access to the Internet through wireless LAN access points (supports IEEE802.11 b/g with the WPA/WPA2 security feature).
- Motion sensor and Gyro sensor.
- Game Card slot, SD Card slot, Audio jack (stereo output).
- Battery lasts about 3-5 hours when playing Nintendo 3DS software, and 5-8 hours when playing Nintendo DS software.
- 3.5mm stereo headphone minijack, speakers, microphone.
- 2GB SD card in the box.
But really, the spec's are quite good with this device, i mean a high res screen, an option to switch between 3d 2 cameras as well as a 2gb memory card!
Right now, there has only been about 30 games made for this console, which if you think about it is not a lot giving that not all of you like every genre of game.
Nintendo promised more games on the way so that is a good thing, another eason to get this is if you have had a previous console all the games from the previous DS will still work on the new one and as the demand for the 3d catagory of games increase the prices of the traditional ones will decrease!
